King George Tupou the First – the first king of Tonga, dedicated the land to Almighty GOD. The very basis of Tonga’s foundation since then was laid on GOD and HIS words. The current reigning king- King George Tupou the Sixth continues to uphold this commitment.
This prophetic painting has the eagle symbolising GOD, the nail that the eagle stands on for JESUS the two branches of olive leaves for (as they have for decades traditionally stood for ) the government and church in Tonga; and the rock is a symbol for Tonga. This is my interpretation of portraying how ADONAI GOD ensures that Tonga with it’s government and church eternally stay joined to JESUS.
